WINE TOUR!!!

Here's some maths for you...

Vineyards visited (v) = 9

Samples of wine (s) = 7 (approx) per vineyard

Glasses of beer (b) = 1

Emma's sobriety index = (E)

E = (vs) + b = ONE VERY DRUNK AND VERY HAPPY EMMA

Bella, Ad, Bro and I decided to go on a mini-break to the Yara Valley. As many of you will know, I have a slight penchant for a glass of wine, so the idea of a WHOLE DAY of FREE WINE literally blew my mind!! 

And it didn't disappoint. In a noble feat of epic proportions, Adam offered to be the designated driver for a tour of the Yara Valley vineyards (a suggestion he was later to regret sincerely, but by which point he had 3 rather well-oiled wine-experts on his hands and we weren't about to let him off the hook). 

The incredible thing about the Yara Valley is that it is dripping with insanely beautiful wineries. Some of them ridiculously grand, others humble and cosy, and all of them with breath-taking views of the valley (and free wine!). So we arrived about 10.30am, and spent the entire (yes ENTIRE) day tootling from one to another tasting their yummy wines and getting progressively more merry. It was like a gigantic piece of heaven! 

To top it off Ad and Bella treated us to an incredible dinner in Healesville Hotel, and a stay at a simply beautiful Air BnB place where we topped off our day of drinking wine by drinking more wine. Hurrah!!
